Impact of racial marketing and promotion of Basketball? - model promotion boy fabrizio

Do you think that is the promotion and marketing of basketball in the United States inherantly racist and if so, do you think has an impact on how you play the game, recruiting players, etc?

For example, the game is focused as a sport largely "black" Urban, hip-hop market and focused largely on the attention to a style of play for more black players than other ethnic groups. Does it hurt or help the black population? Does this mean fewer opportunities for players of other ethnicities? Or is that all who the best player in the city that is more in the current business model of the NBA commercial?
